Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services to patients, assisting them in achieving their rehabilitation goals and improving their functional abilities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist, focusing on improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of assistive devices.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatments as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to promote continued recovery and health.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
• Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and professional development activities.

Qualifications :

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of California.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
