This is an IT Support Specialist on-site part-time role based in Westborough, MA.

Job description

Summary : The L1 / L2 Onsite Support Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operation and support for our organization's computing environment.

This position involves a broad range of responsibilities including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring new technology, and providing essential training and support to end users.

A successful candidate will be adept at both individual and collaborative problem-solving and possess a deep understanding of computer systems.

This is a contract to hire position, with an initial duration of 3 months, that may lead to a full-time position if performance is exceptional.

Responsibilities :

  • Basic System / device support (Dell / Microsoft PC, Windows 10 OS, Microsoft 365 applications)
  • Basic Network / connectivity support
  • Basic Server / Print service support
  • Basic AV room system support
  • New Field Office Site surveys
  • New technology deployments (Kiosk PC & Display, Router, Wireless AP,

Broadband / Cellular Internet)

  • PC Imaging / refreshes
  • Misc. Tier 1 and 2 desktop support

Qualifications :

  • At least 2 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.
  • Exceptional ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
