We are seeking a Sr. UX Designer to join our client in the B2C ecommerce space. This role will serve as the sole UI / UX designer working cohesively with Product, Engineering, and QA to ensure the design needs are timely met and the product development process runs smoothly.
You will take ownership of all aspects related to UX design and research. This role is remote with quarterly travel to CST time zone.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, and QA to ensure the design needs are met timely and the product development process runs smooth.
- Own all matters related to UX design / research and develop innovative user experiences that not only delight customers but also meet Product KPIs.
- Leverage user testing tools / methods to conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and solutions.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
- Implement and maintain accessible and responsive designs that meet industry standards and best practices.
- Continuously monitor and analyze user feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Identify and evaluate potential opportunities to improve existing web, apps, mobile, and interactive designs.
- Work with the team to monitor and ensure development of consistent user experience across all areas of the website.
- Own overall end-to-end user experience - from the big picture (owning the overall user experience and consistency across an entire product) down to specifics of UI layout for a feature or service flow.
- Envision and develop intuitive, scalable, and engaging interactions and experience designs for multiple platforms (web and mobile).l
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a UX Design role within ecommerce
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with AB Testing and Figma
- Proven track record of designing intuitive user interfaces
- Strong understanding of User Experience Research methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
