Day to Day

• Invoice Management : Generate and review invoices and supporting documentation on a monthly basis or as requested. Ensure timely and accurate invoice generation to support financial reporting.
• Project Support : Set up new projects and modify project profiles in our accounting system according to established processes.

Maintain accurate project data to support effective budget management and financial reporting.

Data Accuracy : Regularly update and reconcile project information and billing data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Address billing inconsistencies and undertake collections activities as needed.

Collaboration : Work closely with Project Managers and other staff to ensure they understand and comply with invoicing processes.

Provide timely reports and information to support project management practices.

Team Support : Participate in finance and operations team meetings to enhance operational processes and provide backup support to ensure the timely completion of all accounting functions.

Qualifications

Required

• 3 years of experience as a Billing Specialist, Project Specialist, Accounts Payable Specialist, or Credit / Collections Specialist or in a similar role within a professional service firm, or similar industry.
• Experience using enterprise accounting tools and familiarity with accounting software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Strong MS Excel, Word, or similar product skills; ten-key proficient.

There are a number of additional skills, experience, and education that would be beneficial to this position including, but not limited to :

• Experience using Deltek Vision.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.

Compensation : The pay range for this job is $50,000-$60,000 annually. Placement within the range is based upon experience, skill-sets, and qualifications.
