We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist or a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Duluth, GA details for the position are as follows :
Job Description :
- Pay rate up to $25.69hr based on experience.
- Onsite position
- Provides exceptional customer service support and resolutions timely.
- Responsible for managing all incoming calls, emails, and requests to the Payroll department.
- Responsible for managing the distribution of all ServiceNow requests to the Payroll team.
- Responsible for Tier 1 support of Payroll requests (basic payroll information requests and research)
- Responsible for timely completion of VOE and other employee requests for information into the department.
- Assesses the nature of incoming calls, identifies, and completes appropriate action in a prompt manner.
- Responsible for ensuring departmental supplies are maintained and stocked as required for processing.
- Responsible for payroll distribution including, sealing, sorting, packaging, and preparation for various distribution options.
- Participates in all educational activities and demonstrates personal responsibility for job performance.
- Maintains compliance with established corporate and departmental policies and procedures, quality improvement program, customer service and productivity expectations.
- Responsible for incoming mail distribution
- Responsible for scanning and storing of payroll related items as needed.
- Associate degree or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years’ experience in payroll processing and / or customer service
- Experience supporting timekeeping and payroll processes and systems preferred.
- Knowledge of standard payroll processes and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all employee levels across multiple business units and functional areas.
- Excellent phone etiquette and internal / external customer service skills required.
- Demonstrate good judgment, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Time management skills, organize and prioritize workload.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications : Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
- Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team-oriented environment with an emphasis on total customer satisfaction.
