RN Residency Clinic
Shift : 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm / 4-8hr shifts / Monday-Friday
Status : Full Time / 32hr week

Summary :
Provides general nursing case to patients in residency clinic or similar health-care facility following established standards of practice.
In conjunction with Practice Manager, supervises clinical personnel and facilitates day-to-day operations within the Clinic structure as it relates to the clinical staff.
Formal Education Required
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, or a school accepted for candidacy status from an accrediting body
- Current license as a Registered Nurse by the State of Ohio
- Meets continuing education requirements in order to maintain license
Experience & Training Required
One (1) year of RN experience; experience in clinic, physician office environment, or healthcare facility working with the department-specific patient population preferred.
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications
- a. CPR certification
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and medical care to five and evaluate patient care
- Knowledge or organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care
- Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment
- Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of professional nursing to provide ongoing patient care
- Skill in taking medical history to assess medical condition and interpret findings, and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence
- Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public
- Ability to maintain quality control standards
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in an emergency
- Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Population Specific Competency : Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients / customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity
Level of Physical Demands
Exerts 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or ten to 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects
$33.08 / hr - $39.70 / hr
The salary range on this job posting / advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
