Nexxiot is seeking a talented and experienced director of rail sales. We need a self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales.

In this position, you will be responsible for meeting annual sales targets within assigned regions.

Your main areas of accountability

  • Aggressively expand Nexxiot’s presence in the North American rail market
  • Build a strong sales pipeline to deliver on Nexxiot’s growth projections
  • Build deep relationships with current and potential clients throughout the supply chain, including railroads, shippers, and car owners
  • Collaborate in the development of sales and marketing material
  • Work closely with US EVP on key strategic growth opportunities
  • Attend industry events and conferences and use them as opportunities to increase sales pipelines
  • Drive sales of the expanding sensor portfolio to existing customers
  • Become an SME and develop use cases for the digitalization of the North American rail market
  • Track and maintain appropriate contacts in Nexxiot's CRM
  • Working with customers to better understand their business needs and goals.
  • Represent Nexxiot with the outmost professionalism

Desired Qualifications

  • 8+ years in sales within the North American rail industry
  • Strong understanding of the North American rail industry and key stakeholders within it
  • Ability to work independently and aggressively pursue and achieve sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with clients
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines
  • Willingness to travel is needed
