Weston is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead construction, renovation and environmental remediation projects for commercial, state, and / or local government will collaborate with multiple stakeholdersincluding the client, A / E firm, regulatory agencies, the Weston project team, and subcontractors.

The Construction Project Manager assembles the project team, coordinates development of work plans or other deliverables as required, maintains regular communication on project status with stakeholders,and overseespersonnel and subcontractors performing field work.

The Construction Project Manager will also manage the project schedule andcontrol project risksand budget to ensure that Weston’s commitments and financial goals are metand accurately and timely communicated within Weston’s financial monitoring and reporting Project Manager also provides safety and quality control leadership for projects they manage.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management with relevant experience or 8-10+ years of experience with High School diploma or Associate degree.
  • CCM certification or equivalent is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in managing both fixed price and cost-reimbursableconstruction projects.
  • Experiencemanaging budgets of $1-5M+ gross revenue. Proven ability to track actual costs incurred and forecast anticipated cost to calculate, communicate, and reportan accurate estimate to complete in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to successfully understand, interpret, coordinate, and negotiate with subcontractors, the client, and Weston management teams.
  • Ability to understand and execute construction documents, plans, and specifications
  • Ability to appropriately delegate and engage geographically dispersed staff.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint / MS Project / Primavera P6.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams with projects of moderate size, scope, and complexity.
  • Promotes relationships between Weston team members and client representatives.
  • Can react effectively to changing conditions and collaborate as needed.
  • Claims and successful change management experience essential.

What makes you stand out :

  • Experience with construction projects that include building renovations and repairs, building and parking lot expansions, security upgrades, UST / AST work, water / wastewater treatment systems
  • Self-perform experience with any of the trades.
  • Experience with Job Order Contracts (JOC) or other fixed-price contracts a plus.
  • Experience in the use of RMS, Procore or other construction management software and aptitude to adapt to new software / tools.
  • Experience managing projects in the field with direct interaction with the clientdaily.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.

  • Generally, manages multiple projects simultaneously that are moderate in scope with multiple subcontractors and internal team members.
  • Management and communication of project changes with the client and the project team.
  • Consistently meets planned project profitability and metrics (NIBT, profit margins, DSO, etc.) on routine projects with relatively few risks.
  • Assists with proposal efforts, including subcontractor identification and scoping, costing, estimating, and profitability planning.
  • Proactive identification of project issues and development of options for corrective action.
  • Timely, accurate, and compliant preparation and submittal of invoices. Monitoring and reporting of the status of accounts receivable and recommends appropriate action on overdue accounts.
  • Compliance with Weston purchasing and subcontracting requirements.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.

Salary Range : $96,500 - $128,900 - $161,000
