Automotive Service Dispatcher

Full-Time Opportunity : 5 / 6 Day Work Week

Monday Friday 7 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM

Job Description & Duties :

Dispatcher Responsibilities :

• Schedule shops work as efficiently as possible in accordance with dealership policy.
• Assign work to the correct technician level.
• Ensure that technicians follow warranty procedures.
• Understand warranty guidelines.
• Book and code repair orders.
• Review hard copies turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been completed properly.
• Ensure technicians complete the multi-point vehicle inspection forms.
• Complete a dispatch log daily and turn into Service Management at end of shift.
• Maintain a record of carryover vehicles.
• Coordinate parts requirements with the Parts Department
• Spot-check repairs to assure quality and timely completion.
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
• Internal RO Processing
• RO Coding
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications :

Valid NYS Drivers License

1 year of dealership setting experience.
