Responsibilities
The Carpenter is responsible for a full range of rough and finish skilled carpentry work. They work from blueprints, specifications, drawing and / or instructions to design, build, remodel, retrofit, maintain and repair various types of facilities and structures.
Level specific responsibilities : Under direct supervision, monitors basic duties for a single construction discipline or a functional area.
Provides first line supervision of craft personnel. Maintains records and time sheets.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following :
- Prepares layout, using rule, framing square, and clippers
- Designs and constructs concrete forms
- Pour and finish concrete and tie rebar
- Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools equipment and supplies as needed
- Cleans, maintains, adjusts, calibrates and services equipment used in the performance of duties
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
4 or more years of experience in a related craft
Preferred Qualifications :
- Trade schools, seminar, or other relevant training
- Valid Driver's License

The salary for this position is $24.88 per hour.
