Golden Years Homemakers & Companions, a homemaking and companion agency in Plainville, CT is seeking for a Per Diem Licensed Clinicians (LPC, LPC-A, LCSW, LMFT) who would like to join our Mental Health Team.
The position can be part-time or full-time at candidate's discretion. Sessions can be conducted in the client’s home or in the office.
The position is an independent contractor position that will be compensated at a per visit rate.
Responsibilities
Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical direct to consumer mental health therapy / counseling to clients
Complete clinical documentation
Maintaining and tracking schedule
Maintain required client contact
Maintain good standing with the appropriate professional board entities
Complete and maintain all required continuing education requirements for specific licensure and specializations
Stay current with updated research and best practices
Be aware of community referral sources and refer when necessary
Maintain up to date case files within electronic health record (EHR) system; and,
Maintain contact with and consulting with third parties and collateral contacts when appropriate
Qualifications
At time of application, candidates are required to hold a valid license to practice in the mental health field in the State of Connecticut
Candidates will have experience and an interest in working with children, adolescents and / or adults and families
Must have a valid driver’s license
Proficient in both English and Spanish preferred but not required
