Reports To : Locker Room Manager
Essential Functions :
- Serves food and beverages to members and guests in an efficient and courteous manner
- Prepares and serves alcoholic beverages and cocktails when required. (will train for bartending)
- Maintain a clean, neat and professional appearance at all times. Neatly trimmed hair, no piercings, visible tattoos.
- Take member orders accurately and place orders with kitchen or bar.
- Inform kitchen about any special cooking instructions.
- Be knowledgeable about all food and beverage (liquor, beer, wine) products that are offered and how they are prepared.
- Verify accuracy of member number and prices before presenting the check for signature.
- Effectively handle member concerns and communicate them to manager or supervisor immediately.
- Make popcorn in the popcorn machine and prepare other snacks
- Keeps bar, dining, prep, and Fire Pit area neat and clean
- Comply to all Club food and beverage service standards.
- Report to work in proper uniform and well groomed at scheduled time.
- Take care of members' and guests' clothes, golf shoes, street shoes and other needs in the Locker Room areas.
- Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.
- Proper use of POS system (Jonas) to ensure accurate communication between kitchen, bar and service staff.
- Responsible for restocking supplies.
- Perform Porter and Housekeeping duties as requested.
- Maintains Locker Room & Lounge areas ensuring they are clean and in order.
- Assist with shoe care and assures accurate member / guest shoe delivery.
- Perform other related duties as requested by Supervisor or Manager.
- Cross trains and works / assists in other areas of the club as needed
- Will sometimes be required to drive a golf cart on property and in the neighborhood
Other Responsibilities :
- Submit all cash tips according to the Pooling Tip Policy
- Treat all members and guests equally and according to Club standards at all times

- Know menu thoroughly and proper food presentation and service
- Keep personal and confidential information confidential
- Basic knowledge of wines, spirits and beer
- Possess an outgoing personality
- Possess honesty and integrity
- Be courteous and tactful at all times and treat others with kindness and respect
- Ability to effectively communicate to members, guests and staff in pleasant and professional manner
- Must be able to speak English clearly and understand members’ wants and how to serve them.
- Must be able to write legibly and accurately.
- Ability to understand and follow posted rules and procedures
- Follow directions from a supervisor
- Have valid TABC certification and Food Handlers certification
- Must have a valid driver’s license
