Job Summary

This role oversees the strategy, development, and management of the growing, cohort-based learning portfolio at Graham. Portfolio includes programs that offer rigorous explorations of current societal issues and discernment opportunities for individuals designing meaningful next chapters.

The current program portfolio consists of, but is not limited to the following signature programs :

  • The Chicago Leadership Circle
  • Dimensions of Diversity
  • Crafting Your Next Chapter
  • Foundations of Creative Writing / Global Alumni Partnerships

Responsibilities

  • Envisions, plans and proposes program expansions in alignment with student demand and School-wide priorities.
  • Facilitates School-wide diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) efforts to ensure our workplace and classrooms best support our team and students.
  • Acts as Graham School liaison at University-wide Diversity and Inclusion initiative meetings.
  • Cultivates and stewards relationships with external practitioners, University faculty, instructors, and staff involved in program portfolio.
  • Plans and staffs the bi-annual National Museum Publishing Seminar alongside the conference Chair and Planning Committee.
  • Engages and supports prospective and enrolled students, providing information and resources to them before, during and post program.
  • Leads and / or collaborates on the recruitment of faculty and instructors for portfolio programs.
  • Oversees administrative aspects of program implementation.
  • Collaborates with the Director of Marketing and Recruitment to ensure successful marketing of program portfolio.
  • Supports continuous portfolio improvements, incorporating feedback to strengthen future and current program offerings.
  • High level of interaction with faculty, researchers, and staff for program implementation.
  • Develops and communicates program priorities and performance standards and assesses operations using these criteria. Plans and conducts quality assurance reviews and recommends changes as appropriate.
  • Manages program budgets and recommends or makes budgetary recommendations.
  • Performs other related work as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education :

Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.

Work Experience :

Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline.

Certifications :

Preferred Qualifications

Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Advanced degree.

Experience :

Background in program development and management.

Technical Skills or Knowledge :

Familiarity with online learning platforms.
