Job Description
You will be the Senior Manufacturing Engineer for the Machining Operations Center / Manufacturing Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for creating and improving machining and manufacturing strategies for ultraprecision CNC machined components including CNC machine selections, NC programs, work holding, tooling, and work instructions.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Senior Manufacturing Engineer, your responsibilities will include :
Collaborating with other Manufacturing Engineers, Industrial Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Production stakeholders to develop and maintain manufacturing process plans (MPP's) identifying the most appropriate equipment (CNC mills, lathes, etc.
methods, special processes, and fixturing required to manufacture precision machined components.
- Creating / modifying detailed work instructions, mfg. sketches, and other shop floor documentation to support production needs.
- Providing shopfloor support as necessary to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.
- Investigating and perform Root Cause analysis of component non-conformances and ensure implementation of effective Corrective Action.
- Monitoring and reporting on quality, schedule, and cost performance of assigned projects / programs.
This position typically requires 4+ years of professional experience

Desired skills
- Proficient in utilizing Computer Aided (CAD)
- Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools, including of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Familiarity with ISO9000 and AS9100 industry standards, and common military specifications.
