A global company in New Jersey is looking for a Japanese bilingual demand planning specialist. This position is crucial to our operations and involves developing inventory replenishment models and forecasts.
Your responsibilities will include making purchasing decisions to ensure optimal inventory and stock levels meet customer demand.
An ideal candidate should have 2 to 4 years of experience in supply chain and inventory management using ERP systems, along with Japanese reading, speaking, and writing skills.
- Analyze historical sales, pricing, demand data, market trends, and other statistical metrics to prepare inventory requirements forecasts.
- Creates a buying plan and recommends other quantities and pricing to guide inventory replenishment and new purchasing.
- Continuously monitors sales, inventory, and buying trends and adjusts stock levels to meet demand.
- Maintains data and analytics to refine forecasts, generate reporting and improve replenishment processes.
- Works with vendors and buyers to facilitate ordering, pricing, and inventory deliveries.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related major is required.
- Native level fluency in Japanese speaking, reading, and writing.
- 2 4 years of related experience is required.
- Familiar with Oracle ERP and MRP is a big plus.
- Knowledge of demand planning.
