AP Specialist

Temp-hire

Hybrid- This person will work 1 day in office and 4 days remote! Wednesdays are in office. Candidate MUST be local though in order to get to office every Wednesday.

Position Responsibilities

• Enter and process vendor invoices within Deltek Vision / VantagePoint
• Ensure all invoices have proper support and also proper approvals in accordance with delegation of expense authority
• Review and process employee expense reimbursements ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures and report deviations
• Review and reconcile company credit card transactions ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures and report deviations
• Code transactions to correct Project, Phase, Task and GL accounts
• Process payments to vendors and employees, ensuring they are paid within terms
• Maintain AP Aging
• Assist with month end close
• Address vendor and employee inquiries and research and resolve any payment discrepancies
• Maintains and creates as needed, written work instructions, procedures, and process narratives

Position Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably Project Accounting related
• Experience with paperless environment and ERP workflows
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe or Bluebeam PDF
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and have an analytical and problem-solving mindset
