Develops training and education programs for staff and other hospital professionals using cost effective and epidemiological sound surveillance, prevention and control methods.
Ensures infection prevention data is collected and reported to appropriate internal and external entities. Leads and / or participates in inter-disciplinary team activities that support the organization’s infection prevention program.
Maintains confidentiality of patient’s medical records. Regular and predictable attendance is required, schedule may vary based on needs of the department.
