WHAT IS THE ROLE?

We are looking for a team member who is a hard-working, detail-oriented individual with a positive attitude to fill this position.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising daily warehouse operations, including the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of product in a manner consistent with HPL’s service and cost objectives.

A Warehouse Supervisor is passionate about customer satisfaction, and as related to the following areas, will be asked to :

  • Shipping and Receiving
  • Supervise and coordinate the unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments while ensuring the highest possible level of productivity.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to all processes for quality, safety and customer expectations.
  • Verify inbound and outbound paperwork with drivers ensuring all products are properly counted.
  • Participate in the unloading, stacking, picking, staging orders and unloading trailers as needed.
  • Equipment
  • Ensure the efficient and safe operations of handling equipment.
  • Scheduling
  • Participate in establishing work schedules to secure proper job coverage.
  • Storage
  • Maintain a product location system while optimizing space utilization.
  • Update the product location system to track product transfers.
  • Over / Short / Damage
  • Identify and recover product damage consistent with HPL’s policy.
  • Report shortages and overages to supervisor.
  • Safety, Sanitation, Security
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Assign specific areas to team members for daily clean up.
  • Maintain the security of the warehouse.
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and ensure all work is conducted within OSHA guidelines.
  • Report any safety compliance issues or concerns and assist in immediate resolution of any safety issues.
  • Records
  • Completes all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate manner.

The ideal candidate for this role will have :

  • At least 5 years of experience in warehousing, regenerated warehousing a plus.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Software (WMS) and RF Scanning.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

JOB TYPE AND COMPENSATION

Full-time 8 hour shifts Monday Friday Overtime eligible Weekend availability - $20 / hour
