Our client has developed a truly cutting edge carbon capture technology used to make environmentally sustainable polymers.

With commercial scale manufacturing in place and state-of-the-art R&D and Technical Service resources, they are poised for significant growth.

They require an experienced polymer industry sales leader to direct all sales efforts and accelerate the commercialization of new polymer product offerings.

Focus of the role :

The focus of this position will be selling product, both currently manufactured product as well as futures, into thermoplastics compounders and convertors.

An ideal fit for this position would come with previous leadership and management experience, but they are willing to hire an individual contributor as well.

This person's office will be right next to R&D and engineering personnel to assist from a technical standpoint and will report to the COO, regularly interfacing and strategizing with the COO and CEO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • At least 5 years of business experience within the polymer manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of polymer technology and the plastics converting value chain.
  • Well-developed industry network.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
