The incumbent is responsible for hiring nationally across our portfolio of properties into a wide range of positions with a variety of job disciplines.

The Field Recruiter will partner with local and regional Field leadership to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the organization and to deliver the best talent.

The Field Recruiter will play a pivotal role in advancing our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through strategic recruitment initiatives.

This role will focus on attracting, engaging, and retaining a diverse talent pool while ensuring equitable hiring practices across all levels of the organization.

The incumbent will nurture relationships with prospective talent while managing on-going hiring manager relationships. The position requires superior communication skills and excellent organizational abilities with a strong attention to detail.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to :

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process for salaried-level positions within Simon’s portfolio of properties.
  • Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and business leaders, working closely with them to maximize effectiveness of the recruiting process.
  • Create and maintain relationships with Diversity focused job boards to understand and implement offerings
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies for open positions. Work with hiring managers and interview team to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against criteria.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners to coordinate and communicate organizational recruiting strategies to ensure alignment with current enterprise hiring needs
  • Develop applicant flow for open positions. Source, screen and schedule qualified candidates against the strategy, leveraging a variety of sources to include internet job boards, employee referrals, internet search engines, resume mining techniques, social media, job fairs, associations, and vendors as needed.
  • Participate in and attend job fairs, networking events, and campus recruitment, as a means to obtain a strong pipeline of candidates and to effectively meet hiring needs and business initiatives.
  • Manage candidates seamlessly through the interview process, setting expectations appropriately, providing feedback, negotiating offers effectively, and creating an overall positive candidate experience.
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers on recruiting and candidate status. Provide consistent follow up with hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
  • Participate in hiring discussions; gather and consolidate feedback from interview team members and facilitate a hiring decision.
  • Administer and provide feedback as-needed on talent assessments.
  • Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably experience supporting a nationally or regionally dispersed population, or in lieu of degree, strong industry related recruiting experience
  • Knowledge of DEI talent acquisition strategies
  • Clear understanding of the end-to-end recruitment life cycle process
  • Demonstrated success in developing sourcing strategies, direct sourcing and creative candidate generation
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to partner with and coach hiring managers on the recruiting process
  • Excellent interviewing skills for establishing rapport with candidates and gathering information from hiring managers
  • Proficient with applicant tracking systems, Workday Recruiting experience preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate analytical skills and solid strategic thinking
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and in depth knowledge of data mining and internet research
