Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Benefits Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and interpreting complex aspects of our company’s benefits and group insurance programs.
This role requires a deep understanding of benefit programs, company policies, and administrative procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle 30-40 inbound calls daily, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Examine, assess, and combine data to provide comprehensive information on benefits and group insurance programs and their utilization.
- Identify needs for modifications or changes in program design and administrative procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Record and manage employee enrollment in benefits programs accurately and efficiently.
- Explain and interpret complex aspects of company insurance programs to employees and their dependents, ensuring clear understanding.
- Utilize specialized knowledge in more complex aspects of Benefit Clerk duties, requiring in-depth knowledge of benefit programs, company policies, and administrative procedures.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in benefits administration or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and interpret data.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- In-depth knowledge of benefit programs, company policies, and administrative procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
