Job Description :

The Core Customer / Client Data Platforms team is looking for a driven and talented manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced manager who shows sound business judgment, is highly technical, can influence others and has strong analytical skills.

The selected candidate will manage technical teams supporting one or more critical Tier-1 applications.

This individual will be expected to provide leadership and deep technical expertise in multiple aspects of solution design and application development.

  • Accountable for solution delivery management for their teams.
  • Accountable for the application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews)
  • Creates the technology strategy for their technical domain.
  • Facilitates performance and career development of individuals through performance reviews, coaching, and building individual development plans that are needed to develop competencies and skills.

This job is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes.

Key responsibilities include contributing to a technology strategy, ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards, promoting design, engineering, and organizational practices, and advocating and advancing modern, Agile solution delivery practices.

Job expectations may include coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback and hands on career development.

Required Qualifications

  • 4 Year Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience, including staffing, performance management, and compensation decision-making.
  • Experience in building and managing critical applications with high transactional volume.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communicator with strong organizational skills
  • Experience with leading multiple agile teams
  • Experience with delivering technology solutions within the Banking or Financial services sector.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with both business and technology teams and leaders.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative team environment.

  • Experience with multiple technologies including Java, Mainframe, ETL, and SingleStore.

Responsibilities :

  • Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees / teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives
  • Facilitates performance and career development of employees / teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills
  • Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met
  • Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization
  • Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain
  • Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment while helping to resolve organizational impediments / blockers
  • Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with the product management team and other stakeholders
