Material Handler

• 1st Shift : 7am - 3 : 30pm (OT offered)
• Pay : $19-$24 / hr. (depending on experience)

Job Description :

• Coordinate and expedite flow of material
• Recording shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
• Receiving, unpacking materials / supplies and reporting damages and discrepancies for accounting
• Completing shipping and receiving reports
• Arrange transfer of materials to meet production schedules; examine material to verify type specified for current project;

and compute amount of material needed for specific job orders

• Inputting materials into the SAP system (willing to train if you don’t have exact experience)
• Organizing the inventory to standard
• Determines method of shipment and prepares bills, invoices and other shipping documents
• Receives merchandise - checks and signs delivery slips, and assists with unloading as necessary
• Inspects and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goods
• May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goodss
• Maintaining and updating records
• Counting materials, equipment, merchandise or supplies in stock
