Airbus DS Government Solutions Inc is seeking a Senior Buyer III to lead the procurement process for complex goods and services, including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and continuous performance improvement.

This senior role demands a high level of expertise in procurement strategies, market analysis, and contract negotiation to achieve best-value procurement outcomes.

Requirements :

• Be an active part of the development and maintenance of internal policies, procedures, and processes in support of the Procurement functions in alignment with Deltek Costpoint capabilities.
• Assist in the implementation of Deltek Costpoint Domains and Modules.
• Develop recommendations for process changes and enhancements to improve efficiency.
• Develop Procurement Process training modules.
• Ensure procurements comply with firm policies and procedures, as well as Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and any reporting requirements.
• Manage the small business subcontracting programs, compliance of contractors purchasing systems review processes, and control of Government Furnished Property, including preparation of reports.
• Manage various reporting requirements using various Gov contracting websites such as sam.gov, SBA, CPARS, FPDS, FSRS, etc.
• Preparation of reporting for Executive Leadership.
• Monitors Department KPIs and provides enhancements to improve efficiency.
• Maintaining complete Procurement records in accordance with DFARS Business Systems criteria for a compliant Purchasing System (i.

e., Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR))

• Supplier management including routine visits, audits, and performance evaluation; developing improvement strategies when required.
• Assist in procurement reporting requirements, performance metrics and vendor scorecards.
• Mentor and train procurement team members.
• Prepare reports on procurement activity as needed.
• Roles and responsibilities could expand to other areas based on candidate’s skill-level and performance.

Requirements :

• BS / BA degree in Business, Finance, Accounting from four-year University
• 5-7 years’ experience in procurement with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier management with progressive responsibilities.
• Possesses two-four years of government procurement experience.
• Experience in a DoD manufacturing environment.
• Advanced experience and knowledge of CPSR, Procurement Policies and Purchasing Systems.
• Excellent working knowledge of Subcontract Management and Procurement concepts; and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
• Experience managing Subcontracts and Procurements.
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures; government cost accounting standards and accounting practices; FAR / DFARS / CPSR requirements;

procurement principles; policies and procedures to support procurement methods; reporting requirements.

• Advanced user of Deltek CostPoint. Domains including CRM & Contracts, Planning, Materials and Reports & Analytics
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) a plus.
