Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) or Exercise Physiologist -Marinette Cardiac Rehab

Job Description :

Our program aims to strengthen a patient's heart and boost quality of life by providing support in heart-healthy eating, fitness training, medication monitoring and other valuable services including stress testing.

The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible and accountable for providing quality professional nursing care to patients and their families and significant others adhering to the WI Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Code of the WI Board of Nursing, and / or appropriate nursing standards governing nursing in the state of practice, the ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and Bellin Health Policies and Procedures.

The responsibility includes providing a safe environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors and working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health care team to provide the best outcomes for the patient.

Community involvement and collaboration is encouraged.

Qualifications :

If RN : Licensed in the state of practice required (RN must practice under the law and regulations governing nursing in the state of practice).

Certification encouraged in job specialty.

One to two years of RN experience preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.

If Exercise Physiologist : American College Sports Medicine (ACSM) Exercise Specialist or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) preferred.

Minimum one year experience in inpatient / outpatient cardiac rehab program preferred.
