Join our team as : Maintenance Worker What You Will Do The Maintenance Worker is responsible for the overall repair, upkeep, and safe operation of Fred Finch Youth & Family Service facilities (owned and leased), including, but not limited to painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, light construction, documentation of repairs, as well as delivery of and pickup of maintenance supplies.
This position is also responsible for assisting with agency vehicle maintenance as needed.
The Maintenance worker is expected to perform routine and preventive maintenance and repairs for assigned building(s), facilities and equipment, ensuring technical operations are in proper working order.
Shifts Available Full Time - Hourly; schedule TBD Salary Range In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $22.55 and $28.78 per hour.
The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

2024-2025 Benefits Guide What You Bring to The Table (requirements) : Education : High School Diploma or GED or a minimum of four (4) years of experience in general facility maintenance.
Valid California Drivers License (or the ability to obtain one within 10 days of hire) and good driving record.
Ability to drive vans and light trucks safely if assigned to driving duties.A minimum of one (1) years general maintenance experience in building / equipment, maintenance and carpentry and repairsA minimum of one years experience in plumbing maintenance.
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to use a variety of shop equipment and tools.Working knowledge of building materials and their use.
Demonstrated knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).Demonstrated knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules.
Demonstrated ability to work independently.Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and effectively with co-workers and staff and to develop helpful relationships with the participants we serve.
Basic computer skills and / or demonstrated aptitude to use computer-based technologies i.e.
Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
