onsemi is seeking a highly motivated Senior Compensation Analyst to join our fast-paced Compensation team. As a Senior Compensation Analyst, you will have the opportunity to design, develop and administer onsemi’s programs globally.
This role will consult and collaborate with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition partners, HRIS partners and business leaders on compensation strategy and global job architecture.
Flexibility to manage competing and shifting priorities is essential in this position. The Senior Compensation Analyst position requires significant attention to detail and the ability to work with all levels of leadership within the organization.
- Consults with HR partners and recruiters regarding compensation policy interpretation, new hire offers, promotions, market analysis, job evaluation, and other compensation projects and initiatives.
- Designs & administers compensation programs globally, including the annual merit review, and incentive programs.
- Conducts salary analyses, leveraging Payfactors or a similar data repository tool.
- Evaluates jobs and supports job architecture maintenance.
- Oversees periodic audits to ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Identifies, develops, and documents procedures to streamline compensation processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepares compensation-related communications and training materials related to onsemi’s total reward philosophy.
- Accurately analyzes and prioritizes details while consistently producing error-free work.
- Always acts in a safe manner and ensures that those around them do not put themselves or others at risk.
- Partners with HRIS on developing and generating reports; gathers necessary data to conduct complex modeling and manipulate large data sets.
- Converts data outcomes into accurate and summarized insights for executive presentations.
- Monitors the effectiveness of existing internal compensation policies, guidelines and procedures recommending revisions that maintain competitiveness and fiscal responsibility.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, human resources, or related field required; CCP certification, Payfactors, and Oracle knowledge is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in a related field preferred.
- Working knowledge of high-tech surveys as a Aon Radford.
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite; must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to act with discretion, confidentiality, and good judgment.
- Ability to prepare and present materials to executive audiences.
- Self-starter with strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to and understand people in a courteous and professional manner.
- Required to conduct business with the highest legal and ethical standards.
- Ability to lead global compensation projects.
- Demonstrated compensation program knowledge in a diverse environment, preferably within high-tech or manufacturing industries.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to align compensation goals to the needs of the business.
- Must have effective decision-making / critical thinking skills and be creative and results oriented.
- Analytical mindset and ability to manage large, complex data sets.
