Azure Cloud Administrator

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Administrator to manage and support our cloud infrastructure. This role requires expertise in Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and general Office (O) administration.

The ideal candidate will have advanced capabilities in supporting and troubleshooting Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), network connectivity, application gateways, and Azure Virtual Desktop.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for Azure IaaS resources including VMs, storage accounts, and network interfaces.
• Implement and maintain PaaS solutions such as Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Functions.
• Provide general support and administration for Office services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
• Manage user accounts, licenses, and security settings in the Office portal.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Azure VMs, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Diagnose and fix network connectivity issues including VPNs, ExpressRoute, and VNet peering.
• Manage and troubleshoot Azure Application Gateways and Load Balancers.
• Provide advanced support for Azure Virtual Desktop deployments, including user access, performance optimization, and security.
• Ensure cloud environments are secure and compliant with industry standards and company policies.
• Implement and manage security measures such as firewalls, network security groups, and Azure Security Center.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates to streamline operations.
• Monitor the performance and health of cloud resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other tools.
• Optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency through regular analysis and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of cloud environments, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide training and support to other IT staff and end-users as needed.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of - years of experience in Azure cloud administration.
• Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and Office services.
• Advanced skills in troubleshooting Azure VMs, network connectivity, application gateways, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Azure CLI.
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Azure certifications (, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
