Job Schedule : Day Shift (5AM Start), Monday thru Friday

Starting Pay / Salary range : depending on experience

The position is immediately available

The Dispatch Supervisor supports the Distribution, Fulfillment and delivery of food for Revolution Foods from our fresh food facility for students at local schools.

This position ensures that hot food, cold food, snacks, breakfasts, beverages and condiments are fulfilled and staged accurately for all routes prior to leaving the site.

Responsible for printing packing slips, verifying daily t-tags against packing slips, verifying shipments before departure, routes, delivery, and fleet management compliance.

Major Duties and Responsibilities :

The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for executing the daily plan and related activities to ensure timely delivery, quality products, maximum performance and best in class results.

Will help coach, teach, mentor and demonstrate efficient ways-of-working.

Follows all health and safety standards, GMP’s, food safety, visual quality and PPE requirements. Sets priorities and gives direction based upon the daily production plan, controls labor costs, meets KPI targets for the department.

Required Experience and Education :

  • Minimum 3- 5 years of leadership / supervisory experience in a fast-paced distribution center, truck driving environment, or high-volume kitchen environment
  • Must have a valid CA Driver’s license.
  • 2 years’ experience leading or supervising a fleet or active warehouse team.
  • The completion of work in an environment with changing priorities is preferred
  • Experience achieving positive results thru team members
  • Advanced education or related degree in culinary arts, food safety or management is preferred.
  • Related certifications and training helpful. Knowledge of proper lifting methods.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Ability :

  • Able to pass a background check, with no felony history.
  • Able to work a early mornings, and extended or a flexible schedule to ensure efficient work completion
  • Attention to detail and able to analyze data to get results
  • Ability to set priorities and problem-solve, while working under pressure
  • Ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Critical Thinking - Demonstrated ability to determine root cause findings, take corrective actions, and problem-solving skills.

Intermediate computer skills : Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
