OVERVIEW
The Senior Case Manager’s (SCM) job has two major areas of responsibility. They are program and supervisory responsibilities, and general case management responsibilities.
The SCM should be able to assume the role of the Program Director (PD) in the event of his / her absence, and to assist the PD in the performance and duty of the program director’s job.
The Senior Case Manager will report directly to the Program Director and in the event of the PD’s absence, to the Quality Assurance Director.
Qualifications / Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree or higher required, plus 3 (three) years’ work experience in social services, including one year as a case manager, preferred.
One year’s supervisory experience preferred
Bilingual / Spanish preferred
Candidates must demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills, and must have good computer skills
Schedule : Office hours are Monday Friday; 9 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm.
Physical Requirements / Limitations :
Candidates must be able to access areas from the basement to the roof in a non-elevator four story building, must be able to travel to different locations utilizing public transportation, and must be able to demonstrate proper cleaning and apartment maintenance methods to residents in addressing their activities of daily living.
