YourResponsibilities :
Reporting to theExecutive Chef and Hotel Executive Chef responsibilities andessential job functions include but are not limited to thefollowing :
- Consistently offerprofessional friendly and proactive guest service while supportingfellow Colleagues
- Ensure the consistency in thepreparation of all food items for a la carte and / or buffet menusaccording to hotel recipes andstandards
- Conduct daily shift briefings tokitchen Colleagues
- Ensure all kitchenColleagues are aware of standards andexpectations
- Keep open lines of communicationregarding guest feedback
- Anticipate guestsneeds respond promptly and acknowledge all guests however busy andwhatever time of day
- Maintain proper rotationof product in all chillers to minimizewastage / spoilage
- Have full knowledge of allmenu items daily features andpromotions
- Flexibility to work in all culinaryareas within the hotel
- Ensure the cleanlinessand maintenance of all work areas utensils andequipment
- Follow kitchen policies proceduresand service standards
- Follow all safety andsanitation policies when handling food andbeverage
- Follow hotel time and attendancepolicy

Qualifications
- Previousexperience in the Culinary field required in Garde Manger and HotKitchen in a 4 or 5 Diamond Restaurant orHotel
- Journeymans papers or internationalequivalent required
- Diploma / Certification in aCulinary discipline an asset
- Computer literatein Microsoft Window applications anasset
- Strong interpersonal and problem solvingabilities
- Highly responsible &reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure ina fast paced environment
- Ability to workcohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focusattention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at alltimes
- Ability to speak read and write inEnglish
- Available to work weekdays weekendsnights andholidays
