We are looking for two Bank Tellers to work a 60-day contract for our banking client. One Teller is needed in Santa Monica, and one is needed in Brentwood.
The hours are 8-5 Monday through Friday. Previous experience as a Bank Teller is ideal, but we are also flexible to consider candidates with cash handling experience who are trainable.
Responsibilities :
- Handle and process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
- Answer inbound calls from customers and address their inquiries and concerns
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and building strong customer relationships
- Accurately input customer information and transaction details into the banking system
- Schedule appointments for customers with bank personnel when necessary
- Use Microsoft Excel and Word to create and manage reports and documents
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of customer data by regularly updating customer records
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist in the call center, providing support and information to customers
- Communicate effectively with customers, both in person and over the phone, to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Experience in data entry and order entry
- Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls effectively
- Strong customer service skills, both in-person and over the phone
- Experience in a call center environment is preferred
- Ability to schedule appointments accurately and efficiently
- Proficiency in email correspondence
- Ability to provide high-quality customer service consistently
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to the bank's privacy policies
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Professional demeanor and appearance at all times
