Our STAR program focuses on centralizing a pathway to treatment and resources while removing all barriers. We will provide support, linkage to treatment, and resources to help individuals navigate the journey to recovery with dignity and respect.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) to join our dynamic team in the STAR program. The CRS will play a crucial role in supporting individuals through their recovery journey by offering guidance, advocacy, and encouragement.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide one-on-one support and guidance to individuals enrolled in the STAR program.
  • Assist clients in setting and achieving personal recovery goals.
  • Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the program and community.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications :

  • Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) certification required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working in behavioral health or substance abuse treatment settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate, nonjudgmental attitude towards individuals in recovery.
  • Willingness to adhere to ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality.
