We are looking for a driven experienced and handson Director of Hotel Supplier Relations In the role you will lead a team that owns TravelPerk s direct relationships with hotels OTAs other third parties and partner with Product to build out our connectivity roadmap The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success creating and executing inventory strategy and be an expert in working with GDSs channel managers and partnering with hotel chainsnbsp;nbsp;
What you will do
- Strategy : Develop and execute a hotel partnership and connectivity strategy to enable the best coverage pricing and inclusions for TravelPerk customers
- Commercials : Build and manage partnerships with hotels OTAs and third parties to guarantee the best commercials and performance
- Industry Presence : Represent TravelPerk at industry events and continue to build brand and value recognition in the hotel industry
- Data : Decisionmaking must be datadriven to manage the hotel strategy and connectivitynbsp;
- Crossfunctional leadership : Collaborate with product and sales teams to quantify and prioritize opportunities to improve our inventorynbsp;
- Team development : Manage a highperforming team with a focus on continuous feedback mentoring coaching and training
- Metrics : Build and execute against a set of KPIsnbsp; to measure the teams performance
What will you need
A proven track record of 8 years of experience in travel distribution or leading strategic business areas with relevant stakeholder management responsibilitiesnbsp;
High level of sales skills and negotiations skills especially in the ecommerce or travel space Strategic prospecting skills buyerseller agreement communication qualification questioning Closing Techniques and post sales relationship managementGreat communication skills in English : You can clearly explain verbally and in writing the connections between larger business goals and inventory goals to all stakeholdersExperience in hotel pricing and hotel revenue management or in other strategic positions is a plusExperience with Online Travel Agencies OTAs traditional agencies and channel managers
