LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a Manufacturing company based in Philadelphia, PA for a contract role. We are looking for someone to support manufacturing operations by managing effective accounting functions and collaborating with team members in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Pay : $21-$23 / hr
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage accounts payable related to manufacturing expenses.
- Record daily transactions, including client deposits and trust fund allocations.
- Oversee journal entries for financial activities, ensuring accuracy in records.
- Process vendor invoices for timely payment.
- Handle credit card transactions and perform monthly reconciliations.
- Ensure adequate funding for operational accounts.
- Execute check requests and maintain the general ledger.
- Address inquiries from staff and vendors regarding financial matters.
- File quarterly Sales Use tax and process annual 1099 forms.
- Maintain and reconcile petty cash funds.
- Administer employee-related payments, including MERP and FSA.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and other financial reports as required.
Qualifications :
- Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and procedures.
- Capable of thriving in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Team player with a collaborative spirit and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Availability for overtime work when necessary.
- Consistent record of good attendance and punctuality.
Education and Experience :
- High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, or a related field, with a preference for manufacturing industry experience.
Technical Skills :
- Familiarity with various accounting software.
- Proficient in the use of computers, including a strong grasp of Microsoft Office Suite and internet applications.
