OVERVIEW
DeSales University, in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, is a Catholic, private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts university.
Founded by the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales in 1964, the 550-acre suburban campus is located about 50 miles north of Philadelphia and 90 miles southwest of New York City.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Coordinator for Office of Student Accessibility promotes an accessible and welcoming learning environment for students with disabilities.
This is accomplished through the development and delivery of programs to support enhanced learning strategies, organizational skills, and executive functioning skills.
Focused is also placed on individual student support and education regarding navigating higher education successfully, with particular emphasis on athletes, neurodiverse students and students who are English language learners.
The individual will also assist with test proctoring and contribute to the evaluation of documentation in determining eligibility for reasonable and appropriate accommodations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Successful completion of a Master's in Higher Education program
- Passionate about helping students to achieve academic success
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to learn and utilize software and other technology effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with a variety of state and federal laws, guidelines, and regulations
- Schedule requires occasional evening and weekend hours
- Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability and diversity
