Area Compliance Officer
Overview
This is a hybrid role that is highly consultative and has regular meetings onsite. On days that onsite activity is not scheduled, individuals in this role may work from remotely.
All new hires are required to come to a designated Legacy Health office location in Portland, Oregon prior to their start date for a new hire health assessment and to complete new employee orientation.

The area Compliance Officer (ACO) is a member of the Legacy Corporate Compliance team and reports directly to the Vice President / Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).
As part of the enterprise-wide Legacy Compliance Program, the ACO’s responsibility is to advance our program effectiveness at assigned Legacy entities to prevent, detect and remediate illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
Directly and actively engaged in operations, the ACOs support detection and mitigation of risk within the business. The ACO is responsible for maintaining current knowledge of relevant state and federal laws and regulations that
