BCT Cast Products LLC, a division of Blast Cleaning Technologies, Inc., is looking for an experienced Driver / Receiving Clerk to join our team here in West Allis, WI in Wisconsin's newest High-Tech, state-of-the-art foundry.
Operating both No-Bake and Investment Casting lines in our completely refurbished and updated facility, we are looking for an experienced Driver / Receiving Clerk to support our growing business.

General Description
Under the direction of the VP of Cast Products, the Driver will be responsible for all pick-ups and deliveries for BCT Cast.
The driver will receive incoming shipments, inventory items, and pick items according to customer order and / or manufacturing orders when not driving.
They will also be responsible for the loading out of all freight, making custom pallets for unique products, and banding / wrapping product properly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Unload incoming trucks (small parcels, LTL and FTL) to receive raw materials, parts, and components, and move these to their proper storage bins and locations to ensure organization and efficiency.
- Pack and / or crate completed parts, assemblies, or components for shipment to customers following conventional packaging practices appropriate for the situation.
- Load finished products for shipment onto trucks or delivery vehicles, ensuring the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
- Pick up or deliver raw materials, parts, components or finished products to customers or vendors as required using a company pickup truck, flatbed truck, or box truck in a safe, courteous, and timely manner .
This position will require driving based on business needs, approximately 25% of the time. Please see Job Requirements / Qualifications for driving below.
- Operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count material.
- Perform routine inspections on forklift trucks to ensure safe operating condition.
- Count accurately against a bill of lading for proper shipment.
- Read and pull inventory parts from a pick report.
- Participate in annual physical inventories.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area with the ability to operate lifting equipment safely and responsibly.
- Create, complete, and maintain any required computer transactions, paperwork, and documents, etc.
- Ensure work responsibilities are completed daily, including working overtime as needed.
- Help other Departments as needed to meet deadlines.
- Helps drive and support BCT's Culture and Core Values.

- 21 years of age or older.
- Class D valid license.
- Ability to read a map or have an understanding of geographic area.
- Ability to operate an ERP system.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office / Outlook.
Job Requirements for driving :
All positions requiring regular driving require a written job description to include main duties, functions and the necessary physical requirements required to perform all associated tasks.
- All prospective employees will be required to undergo a physical evaluation.
- If required, candidates must pass a Dept. of Transportation physical evaluation.
- Results of the physical evaluation will be compared to the necessary physical requirements.
An "Unacceptable" driver is any driver whose Motor Vehicle Record includes any of the following violations (during the most recent 3-year period unless otherwise stated) :
- Felony involving the use of a motor vehicle
- Speeding 20 or more over the posted speed limit
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DWI / DUI)
- Driving with an open container
- Driving with a suspended or fraudulent license
- Reckless driving
- Passing a stopped school bus
- Leaving the scene of an accident (hit and run)
- Vehicular homicide / manslaughter
- Aggravated assault with a motor vehicle
- Eluding a police officer
- Drag racing
- Operating a motor vehicle without the owner's permission (grand theft auto)
- Permitting an unlicensed or intoxicated driver to drive
- 3 or more moving violations in the last 3 years. This includes :
- Speeding less than 20 mph above the speed limit
- Operating while registration is suspended
- Failure to yield right-of-way
- Careless or inattentive driving (including texting or cell phone use)
- Running a red light or stop sign
- Improper or excessive lane changes
- 2 or more moving violations and / or at-fault accidents in the last year
Age / Experience Requirements :
- No drivers over 65 unless underwriter approves.
- No drivers under 18.
- Drivers for vehicles over 26,000 pounds must have 5 years of experience.
