Job Overview : A law firm in New York City, NY, seeks a highly skilled Securitization / Structured Finance Associate Attorney.
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in securitization, structured finance, structured products, corporate, and real estate.
Experience with CLO, CMBS, Repo, and other asset-based lending (ABL) finance is highly desirable. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and a strong background in law firm work.
Duties :
- Advise clients on securitization and structured finance transactions
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents related to structured finance and securitization
- Conduct due diligence and manage transaction processes
- Provide legal counsel on corporate and real estate finance matters
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to structure and close complex transactions
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends
- Develop and maintain client relationships, providing strategic legal advice
- Support business development activities, including client pitches and presentations
- Mentor junior associates and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the firm
Requirements :
- Minimum of 3 years of substantial experience in securitization, structured finance, structured products, corporate, and real estate law
- Strong understanding of CLO, CMBS, Repo, and other ABL finance transactions
- Excellent academic credentials from a top law school
- Solid work experience in a reputable law firm
- Licensed to practice law in the State of New York
Education :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York State Bar
Certifications :
Licensed to practice law in the State of New York
