This is a remote role strictly forcandidates within the United States.

We are seeking a talented Web Developer to join ourengineering firm. In this role you will be responsible fordesigning building and maintaining web applications that supportour engineering projects and enhance our online presence.

You willcollaborate closely with engineers designers and project managersto create userfriendly interfaces and ensure seamless functionalityacross our digital platforms.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Web ApplicationDevelopment :
• Design develop and implementweb applications using modern programming languages and frameworks(e.g. HTML CSS JavaScript ReactAngular).
• Create responsive designs that ensureoptimal viewing experiences across a variety of devices and screensizes.
• Build and maintain backend services anddatabases to support webapplications.
• Collaborationand Communication :
• Work closely with engineersand project teams to understand project requirements and translatethem into technical specifications.
• Participatein project meetings to discuss progress gather feedback and addressany technicalchallenges.
• UserExperience (UX) and Interface Design :
• Conduct user research andusability testing to inform design decisions and improve userexperiences.
• Develop wireframes prototypes andvisual designs that align with the firms branding and clientneeds.
• QualityAssurance and Testing :
• Implement and conductthorough testing (unit testing integration testing) to ensurehighquality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot anddebug applications resolving issues in a timelymanner.
• Maintenanceand Updates :
• Regularly update webapplications to improve functionality enhance security andintegrate new features based on userfeedback.
• Monitor website performance andimplement optimizations for speed andefficiency.
• Documentation :
• Maintain comprehensivedocumentation of code development processes and project workflowsfor future reference and on boarding of new teammembers.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science WebDevelopment or a related field.
• Provenexperience as a web developer preferably in an engineering ortechnical environment.
• Strong proficiency infrontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) and familiarity withbackend technologies (Node.js Python PHPetc.).
• Experience with frameworks and libraries(e.g. React Angular Vue.js) and content management systems (e.g.WordPress Drupal).
• Knowledge of databasemanagement systems (e.g. MySQL MongoDB) and APIintegration.
• Familiarity with version controlsystems (e.g. Git) and project management tools (e.g. JIRATrello).
• Excellent problemsolving skills andattention to detail.
• Strong communicationskills and ability to work collaboratively in a teamenvironment.

PreferredQualifications :

• Experience in responsive and mobilefirstdesign.
• Understanding of accessibilitystandards and best practices(WCAG).
• Familiarity with engineering softwareand tools (e.g. CAD

Pay : From$37.50 $55.50 per hour
