Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Manager’s key areas of responsibility include :
Key Areas of Responsibility :
1. Program Oversight :
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Family Solution Center, ensuring efficient and timely service delivery to homeless families.
Supervise the Problem Solving (HPS) intervention, ensuring the program follows best practices and meets performance targets.
Manage the Family Response Team, providing oversight, support, and guidance to staff who assist families in crisis.
2. Staff Supervision & Development :
Supervise HPS and Family Response Team staff, conducting regular check-ins, performance evaluations, and providing professional development opportunities.
Ensure adequate staffing and appropriate caseload distribution among team members.
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork and staff retention.
3. Service Delivery & Client Support :
Ensure all services provided at the Family Solution Center are client-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive.
Monitor service delivery to ensure families receive comprehensive support, including problem-solving resources, housing assistance, and case management.
Troubleshoot client service issues and provide high-level problem-solving support to staff.
4. Operations Management :
Oversee daily operations of the Family Solution Center, including coordination with facilities management, budget oversight, and compliance with organizational and contractual policies and procedures.
Track program outcomes, maintain data accuracy, and generate reports for leadership and funders.
Work with leadership to develop, update, and implement program policies and procedures.
5. Collaboration & Partnerships :
Build and maintain relationships with partner organizations, service providers, and community stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness and resource availability.
Collaborate with the Development team on program funding opportunities and reporting requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders regarding Family Solution Center services.
6. Program Evaluation & Improvement :
Continuously assess the effectiveness of the Family Solution Center’s services and identify opportunities for improvement.
Implement data-driven program adjustments and innovations to better serve homeless families.
Lead efforts to evaluate client outcomes and program impacts, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
Participating in other St. Joseph Center community, administrative and fundraising activities as necessary.
