Location / Division Specific Information :

Grand Island, NY, USA. BioProduction Group. The scheduled shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday, 3rd shift 10 : 30pm-7 : 00am

How Will You Make an Impact? :

In this role you will produce dry powder and liquid media consisting of various raw materials used in life science applications.

The Senior Manufacturing Technician will perform various operations using specialized equipment ranging from manual to automated process steps.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail with safety, quality, and other production standards in mind to contribute to the site’s overall success.

A Day in the Life :

Use various equipment for processing.

Interpret established protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment and ensure product quality and consistency.

Collaborate and work with diverse teams to support manufacturing.

Monitor critical process parameters for equipment and perform routine checks to ensure process integrity and identify any deviations.

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience :

Senior Manufacturing Technician - Assembly

• Required : Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production or lab setting or related field
• Preferred : Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :

Follow complex instructions and document accurately for safety and quality.

Familiarity with complex manufacturing processes and adept at identifying practical process improvements.

Proficiency in completing and training others effectively to accomplish department’s processes.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Capable of lifting, moving up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, squatting, bending, and reaching during tasks.

Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including uniform, steel toe shoes, hair net, beard guard (if necessary), safety glasses, and gloves.

Additional PPE such as bump cap, face shield, and respirator may also be necessary.
