Line Cook
Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and quality standards while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
Duties :
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Cook and plate menu items accurately and efficiently
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Collaborate with the culinary team to meet customers' needs
Skills :
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant role in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene practices
- Proficient knife skills and food handling techniques
- Familiarity with menu planning and dietary requirements
