Our Award Winning Client , a highly respected healthcare provider with national operations, is seeking a dedicated Market Case Management Director to join their team in Gallatin, TN.
This role has been vacant for more than 30 days and reports directly to the Market CFO. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Case Management Department across multiple hospitals in the designated market.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee case management operations across hospitals within the market.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the case management program.
- Direct and manage daily operations, ensuring staff competencies in utilization review, discharge planning, and social work services.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and Conditions of Participation (COP) standards.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, nursing teams, medical staff, and other key stakeholders to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Partner with physicians to implement evidence-based care protocols and reduce unnecessary clinical variations.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing .
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Tennessee or multi-state licensure.
- At least 4 years of management experience in a Case Management Department within an acute care hospital.
- Strong knowledge of care management functions and regulatory requirements (Joint Commission, COP).
- In-depth understanding of Medicare, Medicaid , and other third-party payment systems.
Preferred Qualifications :
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) within 30 days of hire if not already certified.
- Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration.
- Certification in Case Management (CCM) .
