TITLE : Planning for Social Skills Instruction Using TeachTown (Gr 1-8)
LOCATION : Mandatory in-person Launch Meeting Early July TBD based on team availability (MCB Complex) / Asynchronous
REPORTS TO : Bridget Craig, Assistant Director of Special Education

GENERAL DUTIES : Participate in a combination of in person meetings and asynchronous work throughout the summer.
DESCRIPTION : Educators (teachers, related service providers, coaches) who are explicitly teaching or supporting social skills instruction using TeachTown in the social communications classrooms will create year long plans for the upcoming school year.
DATE(S) : July through August 9th Time : Anticipated 24 hours total
QUALIFICATIONS : The ideal candidates are subseparate special education teachers in the social communications programs, inclusion coaches, and speech and language pathologists.
COMPENSATION : Educators will be paid at the contractual rate for work outside of the school day. This work will be done throughout the summer between July 1st and August 9th. (6 hours per person).
