- Location : 744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301
- Hours : We offer flexible scheduling with options for day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts. Weekend rotations will include a modified block schedule dependent on availability, with every other and every third weekend block
- FTE Status : casual, part-time, and full-time opportunities available
- Work Environment : Our Ortho / Neuro unit consists of 30 beds. The orthopedic surgery patients mainly undergo total joint replacements, including hips, knees, and shoulders.
Typically, these patients are discharged on the day of surgery and are expected to transition to the surgical center eventually.
Opportunities for cross-training are available for those interested in the surgical center. The neurosurgery patients undergo procedures involving the spine, neck, and brain, with common surgeries being fusions, laminectomies, decompressions, craniotomies, and tumor resections.
Our medical team specializes in caring for orthopedic and neurologic patients, managing all fractures that present to the hospital, as well as surgical site infections and other postoperative complications.

Job Description :
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible and accountable for providing quality professional nursing care to patients and their families and significant others adhering to the WI Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Code of the WI Board of Nursing, and / or appropriate nursing standards governing nursing in the state of practice, the ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and Bellin Health Policies and Procedures.
The responsibility includes providing a safe environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors and working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health care team to provide the best outcomes for the patient.
Community involvement and collaboration is encouraged.
Qualifications :
- Certification / Registration / Licensure : RN license in the state of practice required
- BLS - prior to providing independent patient care and maintained. NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Certification obtained prior to providing independent patient care and maintained.
