Fire Suppression Service Technician Phoenix, AZ On-site
We are currently engaged by a leading provider of fire protection and safety solutions who are seeking experienced Fire Suppression Service Technicians.
You will be responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire suppression systems. In addition, ensuring the reliability, functionality, and compliance of fire suppression systems, including but not limited to, CO2 suppression and clean agent systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on fire suppression systems, including CO2 suppression and clean agent systems.
- Perform routine maintenance activities on fire suppression system components.
- Test and recharge agent cylinders as necessary.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with fire suppression systems.
- Repair and replace fire suppression system components as required.
- Coordinate with clients to schedule service visits.
- Inspect and maintain gas cylinders.
- Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests.
- Document all service activities accurately and thoroughly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstratable experience as a Fire Suppression Service Technician.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 17, NFPA 96 and other relevant standards and requirements for the inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire suppression systems.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, pipe threading machines and other equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
