Are you passionate about privacy and data, and ready to make an impact? Join T-Mobile's privacy team! As a Sr. Privacy Technical Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving T-Mobile's privacy and data management programs.
What you'll do in your role.
- Enhance enterprise-wide data processes and help deploy automation that empower business and product stakeholders to own and drive compliance with privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with business, engineering, delivery, support, compliance, and audit teams to advance project roadmaps in alignment with our privacy and data policies.
- Evaluate business systems, data flows, project plans, and change requests for consistency with legal requirements, privacy policies, standards, and program objectives.
- Operationalize privacy and data requirements through simplified technical specifications.
- Author and prioritize requirements to ensure privacy features are built into product launches.
- Promote business and technical team self-service capabilities through new and enhanced processes and tools.
The experience you'll bring.
- 5+ years of business systems analysis and operations, risk management, compliance, project management, and / or delivering tech portfolios from inception to delivery across organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in a privacy or technology-related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, adapt to agile business strategies, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven success with identifying and resolving compliance-impacting issues by working with subject matter experts and leadership to develop and implement viable solutions.
- Experience translating legal / business rules into functional or technical requirements.
- Experience working directly with product, program, and engineering teams on project scope, requirements, features, roadmap, delivery, and launch.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a privacy program or compliance program management role.
- IAPP Certification (e.g., CIPP / US, CIPM, CIPT).
- Working knowledge of at least one major privacy or security law (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, CANSPAM, TCPA, FTC Act, HIPAA, GLBA, FCRA, State Breach laws, etc.).
- Skills in process documentation, including flow diagrams, roadmaps, and data management
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Base Pay Range : $107,900 - $194,600Corporate Bonus Target : 20%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role.
Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and / or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
