Job Description
This is a full time position that reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services. This position performs clerical duties, assists with scheduling, maintains inventory, and assists with front office coverage as needed.
Qualifications :
- Associates Degree related to the medical field or related field preferred
- Registration experience in hospital setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of computers and varied software required
- Positive personality and good communication skills are imperative to this position
Responsibilities :
- Perform clerical duties such as maintaining statistics, answering the telephone, patient registration, scheduling patients, etc.
- Screen patients and visitors
- Prepare charge sheets and monitor charges
- Type / transcribe evaluations / letters
- Review insurance verifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize manage and complete multiple tasks and projects within specified timeframes.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Ability to function in a fast paced office environment
- All other duties as assigned
