Position Qualifications - Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Physician Assistant

• Current Minnesota Licensure as a Physician Assistant through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
• Physician Assistant Certification through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Two or more years’ experience in a Physician Assistant role preferred.
• One or more years’ experience in area of specialization preferred.
• Valid DEA Registration

Nurse Practitioner

• Current licensure as RN in State of Minnesota
• Current registration as a nurse practitioner with the MN Board of Nursing
• Two or more years’ experience in a Nurse Practitioner role preferred.
• One or more years’ experience in area of specialization preferred.
• Valid DEA Registration

• Robbinsdale Hospital, established in 1954, is recognized as a top Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center.

Celebrating +25 years as a Level 1 Trauma Center, the Robbinsdale Hospital is one of just four Level 1 Trauma Centers in the state (20 operating room suites and a 353-bed tertiary hospital).

Maple Grove Hospital, established in 2009, is recognized as a top hospital in the state for Women and Children Care, with a Level III NICU, and is the largest Family Birth Center in the state ( 5,000 deliveries per year and over 50,000 babies delivered).
